Bored… Again!!

Its disdainfully wretched, my ability to get bored. How quickly I transverse from the state of admiration to one of contempt.. Sometimes its quite fascinating actually.

Anyways, its Happy Diwali to myself and my family and also to some friends.

For the first time in my entire life i was really interested in lighting the diyas and I also took the pains of cleaning my house; its so clean its almost grabbing eyeballs..I do not quite have the reputation of being immaculate!! I am quite happy..really

I had almost forgotten that I have a blog.

I don’t quite remember the last thing I had written.

No..( and this one’s like the one you say with a drag)

Did someone say transition was just a phase? And here I am thinking how lame could that ‘someone’ be! How can it be just a phase when its ever so constant!! I feel it almost all the time. Now one could argue about my sanity if that pleases them for all i care, but am positive that I am not the only one who feels ‘change’ almost everyday!

Alright… I confess, ‘its difficult.’ But then what isn’t?

I watched the movie ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’.. watched it for the 2nd time. I never liked the movie much, to be honest. I thought it was too slow and i don’t quite have the fascination for stories that make me feel so? sorry. I read for a long time; I liked what I read. I did not feel hungry so i skipped breakfast and i skipped lunch and I don’t quite know if i am going to skip dinner. I think i am going to have dinner, skipping all the meals will not be a great idea i think.

I sat reminiscing some events that I was about to forget; something like motivated forgetting, I think. Now thats something Dipannita loves. I mean the words ‘motivated forgetting’.

I read my blogs, re-read them… *sighs*

You know the great thing about regrets? One never gets over them!!

All the things I’ve forgotten, all the things I should’ve remembered…. The confessions and the regrets, the sorrows and the moments of ecstasy… Everything that has ever been a part of my life, things I would like to cherish and moments that I have decided to forget… The anger, the frustration… The insecurities and the pangs of jealousy… People who mean to me and others who let me down… the phases… The conversations, the make belief… The daydreams… All these and maybe many more…

I know I should’ve written it down…

Sepulchre…. That’s the title of my latest purchase. And the next target would be the new place called The Odyssey. It’s a huge building dedicated to books and stationary. I love buying stationary for no specific reason or purpose. I just love the idea of buying pens and pencils and rulers. And yes notebooks and diaries.. The ones with the hard bound covers, or the leather strapped notebooks. It gives me enormous pleasure. I deserve the right to conceal a few incidents or thoughts and also the authority to reveal anything close to my heart when the time is right. Now the time seems right to tell about my dear old stationary bag.

Stationary reminds me of my pencil bag. I had this huge pencil bag that was a gift by someone I don’t quite remember. However this pencil bag was a prized possession because it had some 20 pens in it along with pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, a paper cutter, stapler, pins. I had a collection of scented and colored erasers rubbers of various shapes and sizes. I had a box of crayons and colors with 70 different shades. There were the pastels, the bambino colors (if anybody cares to remember, those were the fat color or sketch pens which had a coloring book with cartoons all over.) I also collected diaries and notebooks and also cards. I would buy cards and add them to my collection. I still have a few of them. I loved this range of articles I possessed. I still like to think of those objects.

p.s: My interest in pens and pencils is NOT to be psychopathologically interpreted!

well, it might sound cliched… the phrase usually found printed on coloured postcards young lovers send each other. one can also find it in archies cards, the cute ones. And one can also get the feeling when watchin cute and cheesy movies…

I don’t miss you….
